Overview:
The IMX678-AAMR1-C is a diagonal 8.86 mm(Type 1/1.8) CMOS active pixel type solid-state image sensor with a square pixel array and 8.40 M effective pixels. This chip operates with analog 3.3V, digital 1.1 V, and interface 1.8 V triple power supply, and has low power consumption. High sensitivity, low dark current and no smear are achieved. This chip features an electronic shutter with variable charge-integration time.

1. 8Mp CMOS sensor with advanced 1.1 μm pixel BSI technology
2. Data interfaces: two-, three-, and four-lane serial mobile industry processor interface (MIPI)
3. Bit-depth compression available for MIPI Interface: 10-8 and 10-6 to enable lower bandwidth receivers for full frame rate applications
4. 3D synchronization controls to enable stereo video capture
5. 6.8 kbits one-time programmable memory (OTPM) for storing shading correction coefficients and module information
6. Programmable controls: gain, horizontal and vertical blanking, auto black level offset correction, frame size/rate, exposure, left-right and top-bottom image reversal, window size, and panning
7. Two on-die phase-locked loop (PLL) oscillators for super low noise performance
8. On-chip temperature sensor
9. Bayer pattern horizontal down-size scaler
10. Simple two-wire fast-mode+ serial interface
