The IMX686 is a 1/1.73-inch (9.251 mm diagonal) 64-megapixel stacked CMOS image sensor designed specifically for smartphones and tablets. By utilizing a back-illuminated structure with a stacked design, it achieves high-sensitivity, low-noise imaging and high-speed capture via column-parallel A/D converter circuits. The sensor features an RGB primary color mosaic filter and a separated power supply architecture to ensure low power consumption. Please note that Sony guarantees the quality and reliability of this product solely for mobile device applications; usage in other fields is not recommended.
