Overview:
This IMX586 OIS optical image stabilization COB process + AA process camera module is a 48-megapixel CMOS active pixel stacked image sensor with a diagonal length of 8.000 mm (type 1/2.0) and a square pixel array. Its head size is 12.3*12.3*6.5mm. One of the main features of this camera module is its advanced optical image stabilization (OIS) technology, which helps prevent blur and
shake when taking photos or videos. It is also equipped with an AW image stabilization processor and an ST gyroscope. It uses Sony's back-illuminated stacked CMOS image sensor, achieves high-speed image capture through a column-parallel A/D conversion circuit, and achieves high sensitivity and low-noise images (compared to traditional CMOS image sensors) through a back-illuminated imaging pixel structure. It uses R, G and B pigment primary color mosaic filters. It operates from five supply voltages: analog 2.8 V and 1.8 V, digital 1.1 V, PLL-PHY 1.1 V, and 1.8 V input/output interfaces, while achieving low power consumption.

1. What is camera module?
A camera module is a compact device that integrates an image sensor, lens, and other components into a single unit. It's commonly used in digital cameras, smartphones, surveillance systems, and embedded devices. The camera module captures images or videos and converts them into electronic signals for further processing.
2. What is the sensor module?
A sensor module is a type of electronic component that is designed to detect an input signal and convert it into a useful output signal. These modules typically consist of some sort of sensing element, such as a photodiode or temperature sensor, and a signal conditioning circuit that amplifies and filters the detected signal. They are commonly used in a wide range of applications, including environmental monitoring, motion sensing, and biomedical sensing.
One of the primary benefits of using sensor modules is their ease of use and versatility. Unlike traditional sensors that require custom design and integration, sensor modules are often pre-built and ready to use right out of the box. This makes them ideal for both hobbyists and professionals who need to rapidly prototype new ideas or test out different concepts.
Another important advantage of sensor modules is their high reliability and precision. Since they are typically designed and manufactured by experienced engineers, these modules are often built to exacting standards and tested rigorously to ensure accurate and consistent performance. This makes them ideal for use in critical applications, where accurate measurements and reliable operation are essential.
3. What does a camera module do?
The camera module is an essential component in digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and even cars. This tiny module allows us to capture moments, share memories, and communicate visually with others. While we often take for granted the ease and convenience of snapping a photo or recording a video, it's important to understand the technology that goes into the camera module and the many benefits it offers.
First and foremost, camera modules allow us to capture images and videos that we can afterwards relive and share with friends and family. Whether it's a beautiful sunset, a family vacation, or just a silly moment with friends, the camera module makes it possible for us to capture and cherish these memories for years to come. Moreover, the camera module is often built with advanced features such as image stabilization, wide-angle lenses, and advanced autofocus capabilities that can help improve the quality of our images and videos.
In addition to personal use, camera modules also serve a vital role in professional fields such as journalism, business, and medicine. For example, journalists rely on camera modules as a means of documenting news events and sharing them with the public. Similarly, businesses use camera modules to showcase their products or services on websites and social media platforms. In the medical field, camera modules are utilized in surgical procedures to provide visual feedback and enable remote consultations.
Finally, the camera module has sparked an entire industry of enthusiasts and professionals who specialize in photography, videography, and visual communications. Thanks to the proliferation of smartphones and other devices equipped with camera modules, it's never been easier to get involved in these industries or create high-quality content of our own.
In conclusion, the camera module is an essential technology that plays a crucial role in our daily lives. From personal use to professional applications, the camera module enables us to capture moments, share memories, and communicate visually with others.
4. How to choose the lens angle?
When it comes to choosing the right lens angle for your photography, there are several factors to consider. It's important to remember that each angle serves a different purpose, and the one you choose will ultimately depend on what you're trying to achieve.
Firstly, consider the subject matter. If you're shooting a person or animal, a moderate to long lens is usually recommended. This will allow you to capture their facial features or other details without distorting their appearance. A wide-angle lens, on the other hand, is great for landscapes or cityscapes, where you want to capture as much of the scene as possible in one shot.
Another important factor is the environment and available space. If you're shooting in a tight space, like a small room or cramped alleyway, a wide-angle lens will help you capture the entire scene without having to step back too far. However, in a larger space, a moderate to long lens may be better suited for isolating your subject and removing any distracting elements from the background.
Consider the mood or tone you're trying to convey in your photograph. A wide-angle lens can make a scene appear more dramatic or grandiose, while a telephoto lens can create a sense of intimacy and closeness with your subject.
In the end, choosing the right lens angle is all about experimentation and finding what works best for you and your photography style. Don't be afraid to try out different lenses or angles, and remember to have fun while doing it!
5. What operating system does your camera module support?
Our camera module can support Windows, Mac-IOS, Android and Self-developed Software.
