This camera module is based on OmniVision OV5640 CMOS Image Sensor, the cost-effective CMOS imaging solution that enables high-speed image capture capabilities, and includes variable functions, such as gain, frame rate, and exposure while maintaining low power consumption. The sensor has a 1/4 Inch optical format, which combines with the pixel size of 1.4um(H) x 1.4um(V), resulting in the 5.0 Megapixel support at 30 fps 2592H x 1944V for maximum video performance.
